ICBC, the only card issuer of Diners Club International in China, issued ICBC Diners Club I GO credit card (“Diners Club I GO card”) together with the Diners Club International, creating a fashionable payment product for travel around the world, especially in North America.
I. About the Product
Diners Club I GO card, the first card with single Diners Club logo issued by ICBC and Diners Club International, is a magnetic stripe plus IC (EMV) composite card, providing a higher level of security for cardholders. The product is classified as platinum card, gold card and classic card, each valid for eight years.
II. How to Use the Product
Diners Club I GO card can be used at ICBC designated merchants, ICBC outlets, ATMs etc. within China, and at the network of Diners Club and Discover overseas. The foreign currency of Diners Club I GO card is US dollar, and the consumption at the network of Diners Club or Discover in dollar countries or regions is directly charged to the account by US dollar without currency conversion and payment of the corresponding exchange fees. At the network of Diners Club or Discover in non-dollar countries or regions, the system will automatically calculate the trading amount by US dollar and charge the consumption to the US dollar account, automatically free of the corresponding exchange fees. Diners Club I GO card can be repaid directly by the US dollar, or by exchange purchase with RMB.
III. Application
Case 1: You can apply for a Diners Club I GO card and a single UnionPay logo card simultaneously. You just need to fill out one form for application of both cards. To better make payment via the cards and enjoy the rights and interests, it is recommended that you mainly use the single UnionPay logo card in China, and Diners Club I GO card overseas. The combination of the two cards makes you pay with convenience across the world.
Case 2: Holders of an ICBC UnionPay credit card can just apply for a Diners Club I GO card. The issuance of the latter as a supplement card to the former makes a fast and convenient application.
