In order to provide quality service for you, ICBC officially launched "quick credit card processing service" on February 1, 2008. ICBC will complete the handling, review and approval of your application and the production and mail or delivery of card to the designated outlet regarding your application for new card, supplementary card and upgrade of credit card within 15 calendar days from the time you have submitted the application; however, the delay caused by your failure to properly fill the application form and provide the complete documents will not be counted in the 15 calendar days and it will be postponed after the statutory holidays such as New Year, Chinese Lunar New Year, Tomb-sweeping Day, May Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-autumn Festival and National Day.
