☆ Introduction
Baby Growth Card is a themed debit card issued by ICBC for minor customers, which is divided into standard card face debit card and children’s portrait customized card face debit card, and has all the financial functions of ordinary debit cards.
I. Standard card face debit card
i. You can choose any one that you like from new versions of card faces.
1. The card is only applicable to the customers under 18 years old (inclusive), and those under 16 years old should apply for the card through their guardians.
2. The card faces are optional, and the cost of production and the annual fee (before the age of 16) are exempted.
3. Entitled to customer group exclusive time savings products:
● ICBC lucky money
● Baby’s piggy bank
● Family dream fund
ii. The card application can be submitted online and offline
Online: On ICBC’s customer service WeChat, click “Smart Finance” – “Apply for Savings Card” - “Baby Growth Card”.
Offline: The card application can be completed instantly through ICBC’s outlet counter and intelligent terminal.
Notes:
1. If you apply for the card online, the card will be mailed to your home.
2. As a characteristic debit card, the baby growth card can be applied for at some outlets. It is recommended that you contact an applicable outlet by telephone in advance for confirmation.
3. When the guardian handles the baby growth card on behalf of the minor, he/she must present the valid identity documents of the applicant and the guardian and the proof of parent-child relationship (that is, the household register, birth certificate and other valid documents that can prove the guardianship relationship).
II. Children’s portrait customized debit card
i. Customized card faces are personalized and fashionable
1. The card face can be customized with portraits of customers under 16 years old (inclusive).
2. In case of online application, the card will be mailed to your home.
3. Personalized service fee of RMB100/card is charged for the customized card face (annual fee is subject to current regulations).
